Team Building Games
Whilst being fun and exciting and a great source of ‘disguised exercise’ our team building games also incorporate skills development aims such as:
Here are our most popular team building games...
Game: Defend the Base
Type: Teamwork & strategy
Players will be split into two groups and each team will have to devise a strategy and assign a position to each player. Each team must attempt to tag the opposition’s base whilst ensuring they defend their own base. Too little defence and the opposition will be able to shoot your base to gain extra points; too many in defence and there are less people to tag the enemy base. Strategy and teamwork is the key to winning this game.
Type: Communication, teamwork & strategy
Players will be split into two groups. Each team must protect their Team Leader (a great game for supervisors/managers to join in with). Players must defend their leader by taking their shots but after a number of tags, their gun will deactivate and they will need to re-energise to stay in the game (leaving the rest of the team to shield the leader).
Game: Blind Man Walking
Type: Listening & communication
This game will be the ultimate test of your team’s ability to communicate and listen to one another. Players will be split into teams of two; player 1 will be armed and blindfolded and player 2 will be their unarmed guide. The aim of the game is to tag your opponents as many times as possible without getting tagged yourself. Player 2 will need to lead player one throughout the games, advising them where to walk, hide, aim and fire – but don’t talk to loudly or your opponents might hear you!
